Ash Dental is seeking another Dental Assistant to join our team to replace a much-loved staff member who is moving interstate. We are a family orientated general dental practice in Ashwood. An prospect exists for someone to work with us for 3 days per week, with no weekend work required.

The role will involve the full spectrum of dental assisting and is accompanied by supportive colleagues and a satisfying work environment where you will be valued for your efforts. For this position we are happy to train those without experience who are interested to enter the dental industry and also work with those who have experience in dental assisting (with or without a Certificate III in Dental Assisting). For successful candidates, there may be the opportunity to cross-train with our Receptionists and work in Reception from time-to-time.

Some features of the position include:

- Setting up for procedures and maintaining the surgeries.




- Assisting the dentists with a wide variety of dental procedures.
- Instrument sterilisation and stock control.
- Cleaning of the surgeries and practice, to maintain infection control standards.
- Assisting in reception when required.
- Helping to maintain accurate records and logs of infection control procedures, reception tasks, lab work etc.
