We're looking for a compassionate and reliable independent Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our small, supportive team providing one-on-one care to an NDIS participant in Melbourne's Bayside.

This is a unique chance to combine your nursing skills with person-centred disability (neurological condition) support, helping a year 10 student achieve goals.

About the Role

This position offers regular Saturday or Sunday shifts with flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Potential for other shifts also.

Working in the participant's home and community, you'll provide a combination of general care, clinical nursing, daily home tasks, with social and community participation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-on-one Support Work while utlising your nursing expertise (where required)
- Personal care and activities of daily household living and social support
- Medication administration and wound care
- Pre and post operative care
- Monitoring health and reporting changes
- Manual handling,



transfers and wheelchair support
- Supporting therapy, exercise and community participation
- Transport, meal preparation and light household tasks
- Working closely with the participant's family and support team

About You

You'll have:

- Current RN registration (ENs also encouraged to apply)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Willingness to get a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and all other NDIS certificates
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Have or willing to obtain an ABN (sole trader) with Professional and Public Liability Insurance
- Current driver's license
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, person-centred approach
- Ability to work independently and also with others
- Experience supporting people with physical disabilities is highly regarded
- Willingness to complete a Police Check
