About the Role

Set within Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at The Bend, Rydges Pit Lane is unlike any other hotel in the Rydges network, with rooms overlooking the main racetrack and a guest mix ranging from motorsport fans and race teams to conference delegates and families.

We're looking for a Guest Service Agent to be the welcoming face guests meet at check-in and their go-to for anything they need throughout their stay. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, loves meeting people from all walks of life, and takes pride in delivering a great stay in a genuinely unique setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver a warm, efficient check-in and check-out experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed from arrival to departure.
- Respond to guest enquiries in person, by phone and via email,



providing accurate information on the hotel, events calendar, and Motorsport Park facilities.
- Manage bookings, payments, and reservation changes accurately using the property management system.
- Anticipate and resolve guest requests and concerns promptly, escalating where needed to ensure a positive outcome.
- Liaise with housekeeping and other departments to coordinate room readiness and special requests.
- Complete administrative and cashiering duties, including shift reconciliation and reporting.
- Maintain a clean, well-presented reception and lobby area at all times.
- Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S; guidelines across front-of-house operations.

What You'll Bring

- Experience in front office, guest services, or a similar customer-facing hospitality role is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly manner.
- Valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm across a variety of guest situations.
- Proficiency with property management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and event days.
- A team player who takes ownership and pride in every guest interaction.
