A leading Sunshine Coast firm is seeking a driven Litigation Senior Lawyer to join its growing dispute resolution practice, with a focus on building & construction matters.

Working closely with other experienced senior practitioners across construction, litigation and insolvency, this role offers excellent exposure to a diverse mix of contentious matters and the opportunity to build a well‑rounded practice.

You will work across a mix of civil litigation and construction disputes , with exposure to:

- Security of payment adjudications and related appeals
- Contractual disputes across residential and commercial projects
- Insolvency‑related litigation, including corporate and personal matters
- Court processes including pleadings, interlocutory applications, trials and appeals





This is a hands‑on role with robust file ownership and client interaction from the outset.

About You

- 5+ years’ PAE in civil litigation and/or construction law
- Strong working knowledge of UCPR and court processes
- Experience or exposure to Security of Payment legislation (highly regarded)
- Familiarity with Australian Standard and Master Builders/HIA contracts
- Exposure to insolvency or bankruptcy matters (advantageous)
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail
