About the role
Working closely with the Partner and Manager, you'll play an integral role in delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services while helping to oversee workflow across the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparing complex BAS and IAS
- Reviewing work prepared by offshore accountants, including BAS, IAS, income tax returns and year-end accounts
- Working directly with clients to resolve accounting and taxation matters
- Delivering tax planning, business advisory and ad hoc accounting and taxation advice to a diverse client base
- Managing workflow to ensure deadlines and client expectations are achieved
About you
You’ll ideally have:
- Current Australian public practice experience
- Robust technical knowledge of financial statements, income tax returns and activity statements
- Experience reviewing work or mentoring junior team members (or a desire to step into this responsibility)
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
