Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 1st Year Carpentry Apprentice to join one of our host employers in Ngunnawal, ACT. You'll gain hands-on experience across residential and commercial projects while completing a CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry.

No experience? No problem. If you have a great attitude and a willingness to learn, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside qualified tradespeople, you'll learn how to:

- Complete framing, fixing and general carpentry work.

- Read and interpret building plans and measurements.

- Safely use hand and power tools.

- Install windows, doors, frames and fixtures.

- Assist with site set-out and project preparation.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and building standards.

- Work collaboratively as part of a construction team.

- A reliable and positive attitude.

- A White Card (or willingness to obtain one).

- A current driver's licence (P1 or above).

Eligibility

Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents to be eligible for this apprenticeship.
