Trainee Swimming Pool Technician position exists at our Ramsgate Shop.

We are currently looking for someone who is genuinely interested in the swimming pool industry and making it a career.

On the Job Training Provided. If you have positive attention to detail and respect customer service this is the role for you. If you enjoy working in a busy environment and have a strong customer focus - we would love to hear from you.

What you will be doing

- Testing and balancing pool water to NSW health standards

- Pool cleaning - leaf scooping, brushing, vacuuming of pools.

- Cleaning pool baskets, filters and chlorinator cells.

- Adjusting chlorinator, pump and controller settings.

- Maintenance and cleaning of pool cleaners.

- Recording of service job notes and activities in the company database in a timely manner.

- Equipment repairs and plumbing.

- Installation of current pool equipment & removal of old

- Troubleshooting pool equipment issues and rectifying





- Interaction with customers on-site

- Unloading and shelf packing of pool salt & chemicals

We are a growing business with an exceptional team. If you are a motivated, hard-working, reliable and physically fit person with exceptional people skills is required for this position. The position will involve some heavy lifting. The applicant must also have a pleasant and confident manner and excellent organizational and time management skills. A high level of customer service skills is necessary. The successful applicant must be reliable, and able to work within a team and good people skills are essential.

A driver’s license is essential for this position.
