We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dockhand / Warehouse Labourer to join our busy freight and logistics operation in Toowoomba.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and effective workplace.
About the Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Manual unloading of trailers
Sorting and handling freight
Building and wrapping pallets
Scanning freight and processing shipments
Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and general tidiness
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Candidates who hold a current Forklift Licence LF will also assist with:
Loading and unloading pallets trailers
General forklift operations within the warehouse
For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am start
Approximate finish time between 4:00pm and 5:30pm, depending on workload and operational requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to perform physically demanding manual work
Valuable attention to detail
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous warehouse, freight handling, or dockhand experience preferred but not essential
Desirable
Current Forklift Licence LF
Previous freight or transport industry experience
