We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing operation on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment where safety, reliability, and continuous improvement are valued.

Working as part of a skilled maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring plant equipment operates safely and efficiently while minimising production downtime.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
Carry out breakdown repairs in a timely and safe manner.
Install, modify, and commission plant and equipment as required.
Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

You will have:
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Fitter.
Experience in a manufacturing, food processing,



packaging, or industrial environment.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to work independently during night shift operations.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
