Work across a large-scale NT cattle station combining mustering, machinery and hands-on station jobs.
Day-to-day includes mustering in 4WDs, operating graders/loaders and general station maintenance.

Set on some 1-million acres southeast of Tennant Creek, this family-owned cattle operation runs around 4,000 head of Droughtmaster cattle alongside ongoing station and civil earthworks. It's a practical, no-nonsense setup where everyone pitches in and work is wide-ranging. The station near Tennant Creek is remote, but that's the appeal—positive people, good country and space to get on with the job.

The successful candidate will report directly to the station owners and slot into a small, capable crew. This role suits someone who's already had a decent run on stations or around machinery—someone who can think for themselves, turn a spanner when needed and isn't afraid of a long day. Immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:




Mustering cattle in 4WDs and assisting with yard work.
Operate station machinery including grader, loader (stick rake) and trucks.
Carry out fencing, trough installation and basic pipeline work.
Undertake general workshop maintenance and repairs.

Selection Criteria:
Previous station experience with exposure to cattle work.
Basic machinery skills - able to operate, maintain and grease equipment.
Workshop capability - e.g. change a starter motor, general mechanical understanding.
Manual driver's licence and practical skills (welding, fencing).

Single accommodation provided.
Meals supplied Monday-Friday, weekend food provided (self-cook).
Day rate negotiable based on experience.
