Komatsu forklifts are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
Servicing and repairing the engines, transmissions, steering, braking,
and suspension systems of the forklifts
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults of forklift systems and components
Test equipment after repairs to ensure secure and reliable operation.
Ensure all forklifts meet the quality repair standards
Complete work orders, maintenance records, and service reports accurately.
Access and record spare parts
Maintain a clean, protected, and organized workshop and work area.
Comply with workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and environmental regulations.
Skills and Experience:
Relevant Trade Qualification
At least 2 years of relevant experience
A keen eye for details
Robust diagnostic and repair skills
