About the role:

We are seeking an experienced building & pest inspector to join our team in Ballarat. Successful applicants will use their building & pest inspection experience and qualifications to conduct pre-purchase and recent home construction stage inspections.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Pre-purchase building & pest Inspections




Construction Stage Inspections (non-certifying)
Complete detailed assessment reports using our user-friendly software
Noting building defects, pests, defective building work or maintenance-related issues
Qualified presentation and communication with clients at all times.

Skills/Requirements:
A registered builder or inspector with a minimum of 3 years of experience (essential)
Building & Pest inspection qualifications (essential) (Units 3008 & 3010)
Knowledge of the Building Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards and NCC
Attention to detail, major as well as minor defects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as a professional
Keen to work independently, representing our brand
Must be able to inspect roof spaces and subfloor areas
Drivers License and a reliable car
Current Police check
Computer/iPad literate
Competent in plan reading
Available to travel within the Melbourne metro
