An exciting position has become available within the 4WD Central team for a parts store person with immediate start.

We are looking for a motivated individual, who is looking to start a career in the Automotive Industry or have experience in a similar role. You will have a robust work ethic, great interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day functions involved in the warehousing and storage of parts and accessories.

Key Job Function & Accountabilities

The Parts Store person carries out a range of duties related to warehousing and storage of parts and accessories, including but not limited to;
Identifying automotive parts and components
Receiving and unpacking of stock in a timely manner
Carrying out storage and stock control procedures
Material handling
Inputting stock into stock management system
Picking, locating and charging parts orders for external and internal guests




Organising outgoing freight with external transport companies and updating all freight records in a timely manner
Organization of damage claims and credit returns
Assisting team members within the department to complete necessary daily tasks
Take part in virtual and face-to-face training when requested by management
Maintain a presentable, safe and healthy workplace in accordance with our standards
Building and maintaining Guest loyalty and support

Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience
Minimum 1-year experience in a warehouse/storage workplace
Sound computer skills
Having a “guest first” approach to all tasks
Valuable communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications / Experience
Qualifications in Warehousing and Storage
Forklift Licence
Knowledge of automotive industry
