As a plastering apprentice, your duties will include learning to prepare surfaces, install plasterboard, and apply smooth finishes while building hands-on skills under qualified tradespeople and following site safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in erecting frames
Preparing, cutting, and installing gyprock sheeting
Complete carpentry and handyperson tasks
Carry out minor painting and touch-up tasks
Reading and interpreting site plans and adhering to site safety
Maintaining cleanliness on site and maintenance of tools
What we’re looking for:
Enthusiastic and reliable team players
Robust work ethic with attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Requirements:
Current Australian Driver’s Licence and own or have access to a vehicle
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and environmental practices
Punctual and well-presented
Ability to use mobile and technology for reporting and college updates
A genuine interest in the plastering trade
