Job Description

A mixed-billing clinic in a DPA-approved location is offering a General Practitioner position to accommodate its high patient volume. This is an exciting chance for a GP to join a community-focused centre and be busy immediately.

The practice, located in Townsville, provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care to the local community. The centre is a large, purpose-built and modern facility with 14 consultation rooms and excellent treatment room facilities. It has co-located services, including pathology, physiotherapy, and a pharmacy.

Practitioners will be supported by a collegial team of 13 GPs, as well as longstanding administrative and full time nursing teams who assist with all treatment room and Chronic Disease Management (CDM) duties. The practice offers a supportive environment where staff work together to help build and manage a new doctor's practice.



This is a registrar training practice with supervisor opportunities available.

The practice provides clinical autonomy and versatile working arrangements. Professional growth is encouraged through a partnership with the RACGP, which simplifies achieving and recording CPD requirements, with free in-house CPD opportunities and discounted registration for industry events. Support is also available for practitioners with a special interest in areas such as skin, aesthetics, and occupational medicine.
