We're on the lookout for a reliable and hands-on individual to join a busy team in a full time workshop labouring role. If you're someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and doesn't mind getting your hands dirty, this could be the opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Prepping steel components for painting using power tools and industrial cleaning methods
Sanding steel beams and assisting with a variety of paint shop tasks
Supporting steel production & painting activities - Keeping the workshop organised and effective
Applying primer coats and occasional enamel finish painting on steel structures and machine guards
General maintenance of tools, spray gear and paint bays
Working in a practical, shed-based workplace
What You'll Need:
Forklift ticket highly regarded (not essential)
Previous experience with grinding, spraying, or workshop labouring beneficial but not required
A great attitude and willingness to learn on the job
Training available to learn how to use professional equipment
Comfort working in a physically demanding, hands-on role
The Offer:
$35/hr + penalties and overtime
