We're a family-owned cabinetry manufacturer based in Kenwick, designing, manufacturing, and installing quality custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic Cabinet Designer & Set-Out Technician to join our design team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cabinet maker who wants to use their trade knowledge in a rewarding office-based role. Full training and support will be provided.
About the Role
Working with our design and production team, you'll prepare cabinetry set-outs, create shop drawings, present designs to clients, and help ensure projects are ready for manufacture. You'll also liaise with clients, builders, project managers, and suppliers to keep projects moving efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
Prepare cabinetry set-outs and shop drawings using CabMaster.
Present 3D designs and assist clients with hardware and finish selections.
Liaise with clients, builders, project managers, suppliers, and the production team.
Ensure drawings are accurate and ready for manufacture.
Maintain project documentation and assist with design revisions.
Work closely with the factory to support productive production.
About You
You'll have:
Experience in cabinet making or cabinetry manufacturing (essential).
Some experience using Cabinet set-out software
Valuable knowledge of cabinetry materials and manufacturing processes.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
