We are looking for an experienced and hands on Duty Manager to join the Turquoise team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced hospitality workplace, leads by example, and enjoys delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Working alongside our venue managers, you'll help oversee the daily operation of the cafe, support the team on shift, and ensure service runs smoothly from open to close.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe during your shift
Lead and support the front of house team, ensuring effective and friendly service
Work closely with the kitchen to maintain smooth communication and service flow
Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries or concerns
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end of day reconciliation
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, food safety, and workplace health and safety
Lead by example, creating a positive and supportive team environment!
About you:
Previous experience in a supervisory or duty manager role within hospilatlity
A confident leader who can motivate and support a team during busy service periods
Calm, organised and able to made sound decisions under pressure
Versatile availability, including weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods such as school holidays.
