Are you looking to join an exciting hospitality group with career growth prospects? Phoenix Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward to join their dynamic team. This role will see you working in a hotels, cafes, aged care centres, supporting the culinary team and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly. Potential for a permanent position to the right candidate.
Locations vary between Brisbane and South Brisbane and will be Overnight shifts 10pm-5am.
What you'll be doing
Deep Cleaning of Kitchen Equipment
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen by washing, drying and storing all kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery
Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as required
Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
Providing excellent customer service to all kitchen staff
Undertaking any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the kitchen
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Be able to manage for long period on your feet
Reliable
