Australian Bakels Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of bakery ingredients and food solutions servicing retail, foodservice and industrial markets throughout Australia. We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join our organisation on a permanent full time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the organisation's sales and marketing functions to support business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
Develop and implement sales strategies, commercial initiatives and performance targets to strengthen market presence and customer retention.
Design and execute marketing activities that promote the organisation's products and enhance brand positioning across key market channels.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and support business decision-making.
Prepare and manage sales forecasts, pricing strategies, budgets and performance measures to deliver commercial outcomes.
Oversee promotional campaigns, product launches and category development initiatives to support market expansion.
Maintain solid relationships with key distributors, commercial partners and major customers to drive long-term business growth.
Prepare reports, forecasts and strategic recommendations for senior management to support organisational planning and performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability, operational effectiveness and market competitiveness.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum three years of experience in sales management, marketing management, business development or commercial leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies at a strategic level.
Robust commercial acumen, including experience in forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies and business planning.
Proven leadership, stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, retail, foodservice or related industries will be highly regarded.
