CJD Equipment has an exciting prospect for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team as a resident technician servicing the North Sydney region.

In this autonomous role, you'll perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of Volvo Construction Equipment, delivering exceptional service and support to customers across Sydney's northern suburbs and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Service, maintain and repair Volvo construction equipment
Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
Complete field service and breakdown work independently
Utilise diagnostic software and parts catalogues
Coordinate service bookings and liaise directly with customers
Source parts and manage repair requirements efficiently
Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
Uphold high safety and quality standards at all times

What You’ll Bring:
Qualified Heavy Diesel, Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant Mechanic
Current MR Licence (or the ability to obtain)
Experience with construction, earthmoving or heavy equipment (Volvo CE experience highly regarded)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills




Proficient in using computer-based diagnostic systems and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Able to work independently and manage your own workload
Flexibility to travel and work additional hours when required
