About Us
Hanami Asian Street Food is a busy and well-established Asian Fusion restaurant located in the heart of Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast. We are passionate about creating fresh, high-quality Asian-inspired dishes and delivering an outstanding dining experience. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for two experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our team.

Permanent Full-Time
38–40 hours per week
Based in Coolum Beach, QLD
Salary
$79,500 per annum plus superannuation.
Salary may be negotiated depending on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a wide range of Asian Fusion dishes to a consistently high standard.
Assist with menu planning, recipe development and seasonal menu updates.
Ensure food quality, presentation and consistency at all times.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Monitor stock levels, rotate stock and minimise food waste.
Assist with ordering and inventory management.
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality.
Train and support junior kitchen staff where required.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
Skills & Experience
Applicants should have:
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
At least 2 years of relevant full-time experience as a Chef.
Experience in Asian Fusion or Contemporary Asian cuisine is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A positive attitude, reliability and strong teamwork skills.
