St Marys Skin Cancer Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our busy, well-established skin cancer clinic.
This is a casual position with no weekend work, offering a great work-life balance in a friendly and skilled setting.
About the Role
We are looking for a nurse who is available to work set days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with the flexibility to provide additional cover for sick leave and annual leave when required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assisting doctors with skin biopsies and excisions
Preparing procedure rooms and patients for treatment
Wound care and suture removal
Recording patient progress and procedure notes using Best Practice
Sterilisation of instruments and maintaining infection control standards
Stock monitoring and ordering
Delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
Maintaining patient confidentiality and professional presentation (scrubs required)
Providing occasional reception support when required
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as an RN or EN
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, professional and reliable attitude
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience in dermatology, skin cancer or minor surgical procedures is highly regarded, however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
