We’re looking for a creative, energetic and confident Creative Movement & Drama Coach to deliver imaginative activity sessions for children aged 3–5 years.

Our sessions combine storytelling, drama, movement, music, imaginative play and straightforward creative activities. We’re looking for someone who can bring themes and adventures to life while keeping young children active, engaged and included.

This role may suit someone with experience in:
Drama or performing arts
Dance or creative movement
Early childhood education
Children’s entertainment
Theatre or storytelling
Arts and crafts
Gymnastics or fundamental movement skills

Role details

Location: School in the Maroubra area

Hours: 3:20pm–5:20pm

Days: Up to four afternoons per week available

Pay: $40 per hour
Work alongside a supportive team of coaches
Follow transparent, prepared lesson plans and weekly themes
Receive ongoing coaching support and guidance
Lead a mixture of drama, movement, games and straightforward creative activities

About You

We’re looking for someone who:
Is confident, expressive and comfortable leading a group




Can use storytelling and imagination to engage young children
Has drama, dance, creative arts or performance experience
Understands how to include movement and active play within sessions
Enjoys working with children aged 3–5
Is energetic, patient, reliable and encouraging
Can follow a structured lesson plan while adding their own personality
Communicates well and works confidently as part of a team
Holds a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

*First Aid and CPR qualifications are desirable but not essential.
