TMGC is a specialised bespoke gate company located in Hallam, SE Suburbs.

We are seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to join our small team.

Brief Description:

Fabrication and welding of custom-made bi-fold gates and bi-fold garage doors, posts, etc for residential and commercial sites. Setting gates up on test bed, taking steel, gas & other deliveries, general odd jobs, and occasionally helping with onsite installations.

Position:

Casual Full time (to start with) - leading to permanent in the future for the right person.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7.00am - 5.00pm (38 hours)

Fridays: OFF - (optional overtime when available)

Weekends: OFF

Factory Location:

Hallam - Melbourne South Eastern Suburbs.

Advantages:

4-Day - working week.

3-Day - weekend.

Open airy factory.

Xmas Closure: 2 to 3 weeks - guaranteed Xmas & Recent Year off.

Job Requirements:
Must be an Australian resident - living within a close proximate to Hallam .




Fabricate with Precision - using steel cutting machines, grinders, hand tools.
Experienced in MIG welding, working with duragal.
Must have high quality, neat welds & runs.
Attention to detail and take pride in your work.
Able to read & interpret CAD drawings.
Able to work on your own.
Willing to learn recent skills & take directions.
Must be reliable & dependable.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Victorian drivers license (manual) with no restrictions.
Have your own gear, welding helmet, gloves, steel capped boots.
Able to start work asap.

Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour
