Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic, who can perform following responsibilities.

Marrickville Auto Body Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Motor Mechanic for our Simons Auto Electrics and All Mechanical Repairs Location who can perform the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

o Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical problems and perform diagnostic tests to determine the cause of the issue;

o Repair and replace faulty parts, such as engines, brakes, transmissions, and steering systems.;

o Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups;

o Test drive vehicles to verify the repair work and ensure that the problem has been fixed;

o Use computerized diagnostic equipment to help diagnose complex issues;

o Communicate with customers to explain the necessary repairs and provide cost estimates;





o Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a protected working setting for both employees and customers.

Required Qualifications:

· Trade Qualified Mechanic (at least Cert III and IV in Automotive)

· At least 2 years' work experience is required

· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

· A current driver's licence.

· Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced workplace, rewards given.

· Well-developed personal communication skills

Possess the ability to work in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,000.00 – $79,000.00 per year

Mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)
