Responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency to ensure a smooth and consistent kitchen service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepare, cook and present menu items to the required quality and consistency standards.
Ensure all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner during service.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and minimising food wastage.
Ensure all food is stored, handled and labelled correctly.
Maintain a clean, organised and effective workstation and kitchen.
Report stock shortages, equipment faults and maintenance issues promptly.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure productive service.
Perform other duties reasonably required to support the successful operation of the business.
Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
