We are a well-established, family-owned retail butcher shop looking for a motivated Junior Butcher’s Assistant or current retail butchers assistants to join our team.
This is a casual role with flexible casual hours and Saturday shifts available, offering the prospect to progress into a full time apprenticeship if the candidate wishes to choose this pathway.
Your duties will include:
Serving and assisting customers
Preparing and packaging meat products
Stock replenishment and merchandising
General cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace
Assisting qualified butchers with daily production
Learning knife skills and meat preparation techniques
