Pay Rate: $35 per hour + super
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Fridays off
We are currently seeking a Fabricator / Assembler / Forklift Operator for our client based in Keysborough, VIC.
This role would suit someone with previous fabrication or assembly experience who is comfortable working with hand and power tools, following measurements and completing hands-on production work.
The position involves fabricating and assembling frames and components, completing quality checks, and operating a forklift to move materials and finished products around the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricating and assembling frames and components
Measuring, cutting, drilling, fitting and assembling materials
Using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment
Reading and following drawings, measurements and work instructions
Operating a forklift to move materials and finished products
Loading, unloading and organising materials when required
Completing quality checks on assembled products
Assisting with general production and warehouse duties
Maintaining a clean and protected work area
Following workplace health and safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in fabrication, assembly, sheet metal or a similar role
Current Australian High Risk Forklift Licence
Experience using hand and power tools
Good measuring skills and attention to detail
Ability to read and follow drawings or work instructions
Comfortable completing repetitive fabrication and assembly work
Physically fit and able to complete hands-on duties
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, glazing or a similar industry would be highly regarded
