Head of Medical Oncology – Southpaws Specialty, Emergency & Referral Hospital

Location: Melbourne, Australia.
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time or Part Time.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Oncology service, integrating with Surgical Oncology and the multidisciplinary team. Oversee clinical care, including the use of electro‑chemotherapy, and maintain the highest standards of patient and client experience. Support referral oncology clinicians, residents and interns, and contribute to comprehensive training and development programs.

Qualifications

Board certification in Veterinary Oncology (ACVIM (Oncology), ECVIM (Oncology), RCVS or ANZCVS),



or eligible to sit examinations and recognized as a Medical Oncology Specialist by the Victorian Veterinary Surgeons Board. Must be eligible to practice as a Veterinarian in Victoria.
