To keep our operation running at peak performance, we are seeking a hands-on, skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our Swan Hill manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities include:
Evaluate machinery, tools, and technical equipment to recommend and carry out performance upgrades and functional adjustments as project requirements evolve.
Assist with routine inspections, operational servicing, and adherence to established workplace safety standards and industry guidelines across plant equipment.
Investigate operational disruptions and equipment issues to identify underlying causes and implement practical, long-term technical solutions.
Serve as a technical point of contact for junior staff and operational support team members, offering assistance and skill development in day-to-day duties.
Handle the selection and acquisition of mechanical components, tools, and replacement equipment, ensuring selections align with functional needs and budget considerations.
Source and procure mechanical parts, equipment, and specialised tools.





What We Are Looking For
Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience
Solid technical background and experience in mechanical engineering, plant maintenance, or heavy machinery manufacturing.
Proven track record in root-cause failure analysis and continuous equipment improvement.
Knowledge of mechanical component sourcing, cost analysis, and system integration.
Ability to train, mentor, and support assistant technicians clearly and effectively.
Robust commitment to workplace health, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Driver licence

What We Offer:

· Full time 38 hours

· Above Award Wages – Annualised base salary $80,000 to $100,000

· All Tools, Safety Equipment & Protective Clothing
