We are looking for a caring and reliable Cook & Educator Assistant to join our team. This is a unique role supporting both our kitchen operations and our educators in creating a warm, nurturing setting for children.
The successful applicant will assist with preparing meals and supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen, while also providing support as a floater educator across our rooms during the morning.
About the role:
Prepare and assist with meals and kitchen duties for children
Support educators across different rooms as an additional team member
Assist with creating a protected, engaging and positive learning setting
Work collaboratively with educators to meet children’s needs
Morning shifts available (exact hours can be discussed during the interview)
About you:
Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher)
Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Current childcare industry requirements, including:
Working with Children Check
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
Child Protection and Safety training
Other required compliance certificates
Passionate about supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and development
Reliable, flexible, and a positive team player
