I’m currently working with a well-known Tier 1 mechanical contractor that’s looking to bring on Project Managers across both their Major Projects division and their Mids Division.
They deliver a broad mix of projects across commercial, healthcare, data centres, infrastructure and specialist facilities. Depending on the team, project values typically range from $5m - $10 mid-size builds to majors, which are projects up to around $40m
The opportunity
They’re open to speaking with Project Managers at different levels, either those already delivering major projects or those operating in the $2m–$15m range who want to step into larger work over time.
You’d be joining established delivery teams with robust engineering, commercial and site support already in place. The role is end-to-end PM responsibility, from pre-construction and procurement through delivery, commissioning and client handover.
Day to day, that looks like:
Managing mechanical / HVAC packages from start to finish
Working closely with clients, builders and consultants
Driving programme, cost and subcontractor performance
Overseeing design coordination and technical outcomes
Supporting site teams through delivery and commissioning
Maintaining client relationships and repeat work
Typically, you’ll have:
Mechanical / HVAC project management experience in Australia
Delivered commercial, healthcare, data centre or similar projects
Managed subcontractors, programme and financials
Positive client-facing and stakeholder skills
A practical, delivery-focused approach
Project Engineers stepping up, Mid-tier PMs wanting larger work, or established Major Projects PMs will all be considered, depending on which division is the best fit.
If you’re open to hearing about these prospects, feel free to reach out for a confidential chat.
