G.James Windows and Doors branches fabricate, sell and install a wide range of aluminium windows and doors to the residential and commercial construction markets. Our Newcastle branch are looking for a Residential Windows & Doors Estimator to assist our team to build further market share in our housing and residential markets.

The Role

This role requires a commitment to providing outstanding product knowledge and estimating by:
Accurate and appropriate product selection based on interpreting customer requirements, relevant standards and specifications
Reading of plans and taking off quantities for quoting




Providing accurate and timely creation of quotations and orders using V6 software
Establishing and building robust relationships and partnerships with our sales teams

The Person
Proven estimating track record in the building / construction industry with V6 experience (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge and experience with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards relating to windows and doors
Ability to read plans and produce accurate and timely quotes, query and tender responses and variations - Technically minded
Solid attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and prioritise, and to be eager to learn whilst making the role their own
