As a Qualified Carpenter, you will work across a variety of residential construction and
renovation projects, delivering high-quality workmanship while working safely and
efficiently as part of a skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
Construct, install and repair timber structures and fixtures.
Interpret and work from building plans and specifications, including preparing layouts.
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials.
Build and install wall and roof framing, flooring, doors, windows, decks, pergolas and other structural components, including checking levels, alignment and structural trueness.
Carry out renovations, extensions and general carpentry work.
Ensure all work complies with applicable Australian building standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
Work independently and collaboratively with other trades and team members to deliver projects on time.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent relevant trade qualification.
A minimum of two years’ relevant carpentry experience.
Robust knowledge of residential construction methods.
The ability to read and interpret construction plans.
A current White Card.
A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
A reliable work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
