As a Maintenance Fitter at our rPlastics facility, you’ll be responsible for ensuring secure, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.

Shift & Pay
Shift: Monday to Friday, day shift (6am to 2pm)
Pay rate: $50.00 per hour + OT

Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
Install and upgrade mechanical systems and equipment.
Keep accurate maintenance records in line with quality standards.
Support continuous improvement activities to ensure all systems are efficient, transparent and deliver required results.
Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted.
Monitor all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.

Qualifications
Recognised trade qualification (Fitter).




Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Hands on practical experience in a maintenance workplace.
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
Forklift licence desirable.
You will be required to meet Visy’s employment criteria which will include a criminal history check and pre‑employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing).
