Dental Assistant / Receptionist (Cert III) – Part time or Casual

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist with a Certificate III in Dental Assisting to join our growing team on a part-time or casual basis. This is a fantastic chance for someone who enjoys a varied role, working both chairside and at reception.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Chairside assistance for a range of dental procedures
Preparing and sterilising instruments in accordance with infection control standards
Setting up and packing down treatment rooms
Greeting patients and creating a welcoming experience
Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
Processing payments and health fund claims
Managing patient records using dental practice software
General reception and administrative duties
Assisting the dentists and team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, caring and qualified manner
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Reliable, punctual and a team player
Comfortable using computers and willing to learn practice management software
