We have an exciting role available for an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant to take on a versatile workshop based role. This is a excellent hands-on role using your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of construction equipment.

WHAT'S ON OFFER:
Early morning starts - 7am

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Servicing, repairs and maintenance on petrol, diesel, and electrical equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
Work within strict deadlines to ensure 48h - 72h turnaround
Read and interpret drawings and schematics
Customer service and interactions
Work well independently and within a team

ABOUT YOU:




Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience
Forklift Licence (preferred)
Experience working with 2 and 4 stroke engines (highly advantageous)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Basic welding skills
Robust commitment to quality and safety in the workplace
