Security Officer – Full time

Location: Chatswood, NSW

Industry: Large Indoor Shopping Centre within the retail industry.

Positions Available: Full-time

Potential Earnings / Award Level: Level 2

About the Role

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure setting while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client‑facing duties.

Shifts

Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Roster (example):
Monday to Saturday – 09:00am to 09:00pm
Sunday – 11:00am to 09:00pm

Key Responsibilities
Conduct patrols/roaming to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets
Provide a professional and approachable security presence
Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance
Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures
Adhere to all site and company security protocols




Obtain complete and detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
Maintain traffic control in loading docks

About You
A valid Security Licence
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts
Good physical fitness, as patrols are required
Ability to work independently and follow procedures
Solid attention to detail
A reliable and punctual work history
