Finance Business Partner (Fixed Term Contract – January 2027)

Our client who is based in the Victorian Government Health industry is currently seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support thier Women's & Children's Division in a fixed-term maternity leave opportunity through to January 2027.

This is an ideal role for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders, building financial models, and turning complex data into meaningful insights that support better decision-making.

What you'll be doing:
Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders including doctors, nurses and managers.
Develop financial models, business cases and costings for strategic initiatives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and financial analysis.
Provide trusted financial advice across a diverse and rapid-paced portfolio.
Support a small team while working closely with experienced Finance Business Partners.

About you:
Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering,



commercial finance or financial analysis.
Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
Confident managing multiple stakeholders and explaining financial information to non-finance audiences.
Comfortable working in a complex workplace where priorities can change.
CPA/CA qualified (or working towards) with a degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience in the public health sector or with Oracle experience is highly regarded, also seeking candidates from other complex industries who can demonstrate transferable business partnering and modelling experience.
