The exciting opportunity
Permanent part-time role working 8:30am – 5pm on Saturday & Sunday
Based at our 95-bed Fairfield aged care home
Instruct, teach and guide Kitchen Hands
Prepare and cook food in line with cyclic menus, standard recipes, food texture modification and portion sizes
Ensure that resident's individual menu choices are met, including any special dietary requirements
Maintain a secure and hygienic environment through cleaning and safe food storage

The recipe for success
Successful track record as a Cook within residential aged care
Experience preparing textured modified foods including minced and moist
Organised and able to lead a team of Kitchen Hands in a fast-paced kitchen
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
Working rights in Australia (sponsorship is not offered)
