Senior Financial Accountant – Sharp & Carter

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified first or second mover to take ownership of the end‑to‑end month‑end process and contribute to a range of core financial operations across the group. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with tax and accounting standards, and supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles. You will also work on technical accounting matters and assist with group consolidations, audits, and ad‑hoc projects across the broader finance function. This role is perfect for a detail‑oriented finance skilled who has a positive outlook and growth mindset.

Responsibilities
Complete end‑to‑end month‑end close including journals and reconciliations
Support monthly management reporting and provide variance analysis
Assist in group consolidation and preparation of consolidation journals
Manage GL reconciliations, revenue interface reviews, and lease accounting
Prepare BAS, payroll tax, FBT,



and assist with income tax compliance
Reconcile bank accounts and support treasury operations
Provide data and analysis for budgeting, reforecasting, and strategic planning
Contribute to external audits and prepare statutory reporting as required
Participate in system integration and finance transformation projects

Required Skills & Experience
CA / CPA qualified
1+ years post‑qualification experience
Chartered first or second mover ideal
Good with systems: MYOB, Xero, TM1
Can‑do attitude with a growth mindset
Excellent communication to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
Self‑motivated to drive function improvement
