Cabernet & Canvas is Perth's original Paint & Sip, offering fun, friendly and supportive classes for beginners. Cabernet & Canvas is all about getting creative, letting your hair down and having a laugh with friends and family. With a studio base in Myaree, but event prospects all across Perth, it's an exciting time to join the industry.
Job Description:
Our painting instructors lead our Paint & Sip classes by providing step-by-step instructions on how to achieve a designated painting from our gallery. Other workshops include resin pouring, paint pouring, water colour, pottery and terrazzo trays.
Instructors require confidence to teach our groups of Hens parties, Corporate events or even Kids classes. Each class you will produce a display painting and demonstrate the techniques used including sketching,
colour-mixing, brush technique, etc. This position requires robust painting skills, the ability to break the painting process down into manageable steps, a friendly and approachable demeanour, and a excellent sense of humour.
Selection Criteria:
Immediate start
Must be available on weekends and week nights
Must be willing to travel and own a car
Must be able to work independently
Tertiary qualifications (or working towards) in the Arts and / or Education preferred but not essential
