Job Responsibilities
Read and interpret plan and specifications
Determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
Prepare detailed layouts and cutting lists to ensure precision and efficiency in the construction process
Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
Erect the framework, including panelized systems and roof framing, according to project specifications
Construct concrete formwork to support and shape concrete structures,



ensuring it meets design specifications
Install fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding, as well as door and window frames.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a secure and clean setting.

Skills, qualifications and experience required for this role
Technical Carpentry Skills including tool handling, cutting and shaping wood, measuring, lay out and material knowledge
Problem solving skills
Workplace and safety skills
Certificate III/IV in Carpentry
At least 1 year of experience in similar role
