About the Role An opportunity exists for an experienced Export Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end export operations across international markets. This role is responsible for managing sea, air and road freight shipments, leading a small team, coordinating export documentation, and ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities Manage international export logistics operations across sea, air and road freight. Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, suppliers, cold stores and transport providers.
Oversee vessel and container bookings and monitor shipment schedules. Manage export documentation, compliance requirements and Letters of Credit. Resolve logistics issues, delays and customer enquiries.
Maintain strong relationships with international customers and supply chain partners. Manage freight costs, budgets and reporting. Lead and support the export administration team.
Skills & Experience 5+ years' experience in international export logistics, ideally within perishable goods. Solid sea freight and export documentation experience.
Experience managing a small to medium-sized team. Knowledge of export systems such as Impex Docs, NEX Docs or REX. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and strong administrative capability. Desirable Experience within the meat, food manufacturing or export sectors.
Experience using SAGE or similar ERP systems. Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or Business. What's on Offer
