Job Description
As Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities and states. This includes managing fortnightly pay cycles, reconciliations, terminations, and compliance with statutory obligations. You will also play a key role in supporting system enhancements and driving process improvements to ensure efficiency and a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver accurate and timely fortnightly payroll cycles across multiple entities.
Manage end-to-end payroll processes including onboarding, terminations, reconciliations,
and out-of-cycle payments.
Complete statutory reconciliations (Payroll Tax, Superannuation, STP) and respond to audit requests.
Collaborate with People and Finance teams on projects and system improvements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll functionality and reporting.
Provide exceptional customer service and payroll advice to employees and stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
Extensive payroll experience in complex environments.
SAP experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Consultative approach with solid stakeholder engagement skills.
