Main tasks and duties shall include:
Managing and prioritising team workload to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Planning ahead for materials and resources to support your team
Training and upskilling of team members
Fabricating and assembling components according to design specifications.
Operating a range of carpentry machinery and tools, including saws, routers and drills, to shape and assemble components efficiently.
Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Working with a variety of materials, including wood, metal and composites, to ensure precise measurements and high-quality finishes.
Interpreting technical drawing and blueprints resulting in carpentry tasks being executed accurately.
Maintaining a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all finished products meet or exceed the established quality standards.
Conducting through inspections of completed work to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies, and undertake continuous improvement and feedback activities.
Maintaining a protected work setting
Qualifications Required:
Qualified Carpenter with experience in modular / prefabrication
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
Excellent carpentry skills including the use of power and hand tools
Demonstrate a high level of communication skills
Solid ability to plan and organise tasks and resources for your team to meet deadlines.
A robust safety focus - promoting site safety standards
A minimum of two years experience as a Carpenter
