The Opportunity

We currently seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Trade Assistant to join our Forrestdale team. In this permanent full-time role, you will work on the service and repair of radiators, oil coolers, charge air coolers and other associated products.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
Radiator repairs, rebuild and bolt up
Stripping, washing, and testing radiators and cooling components
Buffing radiator tubes
Operation of hand tools such as grinders, spray painting equipment and other tools and machinery.
Housekeeping duties to ensure safe operation of the work area
Additional duties can include painting, strip and assembly, pressure testing and soldering

About You

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
Mechanical aptitude and/or experience in a similar role.
High Risk Work License – Forklift.




Mechanical and/or radiator knowledge preferred but not essential.
Previous experience working in mining / manufacturing industry, preferred.
