We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Production Operator to join our team. This role involves handling raw materials, preparing chemical blends, and ensuring secure and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Pick raw materials to make batches of liquid chemicals.
Mix chemical blends to varying concentrations as per specifications.
Operate equipment for pumping liquids and dissolving powders in solutions.
Fill packages with chemicals, ranging from 5 litres to 1,000 litres in size.
Perform manual lifting of bags up to 25 kg.
Operate a forklift as required.
Maintain a clean and tidy production area, ensuring hazards are minimized.
About You
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably working with chemicals.
Hold a current Australian forklift licence (LF).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid attention to detail, as paperwork is involved in this position.
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
