Mechanical Fitter – Crushing Plant | FIFO Opportunities | WA
We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team, working across crushing plant operations on site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in quick-paced environments and can confidently handle maintenance, shutdowns, and breakdowns.
The Role:
Carry out routine, shutdown, and breakdown maintenance on crushing plant equipment
Operate and monitor crushing plant as required, including inspections and logging performance data
Maintain and operate mobile equipment (e.g. loaders, bobcats)
Complete inspections, servicing, and reporting documentation
Maintain high housekeeping standards across plant, workshop, and vehicles
Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure production targets are met
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses
Participate in risk assessments and safety initiatives
What You’ll Need:
Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Minimum 12 months experience in crushing plant or fixed plant maintenance
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving ability
Experience with hydraulics, crushers, and general mechanical maintenance
Ability to work independently and within a team
High attention to safety and detail
Highly Regarded:
HR Licence
High Risk Work Licence (DG, RB, CN, WP)
Confined Space, Working at Heights & Gas Testing
First Aid / CPR
